It is free and open to the public and will feature a kids\u2019 zone for family fun<\/p>\n<p>The JCCHC provides evidence-based care for patients seeking primary care, prenatal care and other needs for various population groups in the community. It is one of the few nurse-managed community health centers in the nation to be designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center, a prestigious marker that means the facility meets a range of nationally accepted standards<\/p>\n<p>An unwavering commitment to caring for the people of this region and beyond is one of the many reasons ETSU is the flagship institution of Appalachia<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPreventive care is such an important part of helping people live healthier lives, and sometimes the first step is simply making it easier for people to connect with care and support,\u201d Smith said. \u201cWe welcome everyone, whether you come for a health screening, a flu shot, a haircut, to learn about a community re<\/p>\n<p>Other re<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Appalachian Re<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Appalachian Highlands Care Navigators<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Area Agencies on Aging and Disability<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Branch House<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Ballad Health Trauma Services<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Johnson City Housing Authority<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Frontier Health<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Washington County Health Department<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; and more<\/p>\n<p>The Johnson City Community Health Center is part of the East Tennessee State University College of Nursing\u2019s network of nurse-managed health centers.
