Almost 200 women died following an ectopic <a href=\"https:\/\/lumeamara.online\/?p=6579\" title=\"Earlier, more severe diabetes in women who develop it in pregnancy\">pregnancy<\/a> from 2020 through 2025, compared with roughly 100 during the preceding six years, according to research from A new ProPublica analysis<\/p>\n<p>ProPublica also found that Texas and other states with strict abortion bans have higher than the <a href=\"https:\/\/lumeamara.online\/?p=6570\" title=\"Balochistan Government and National AI Hub Partner on AI-Driven Healthcare\">national<\/a> average for deaths involving ectopic pregnancies<\/p>\n<p>The increase began during the COVID-19 pandemic, when disrupted <a href=\"https:\/\/lumeamara.online\/?p=6576\" title=\"Montgomery County To Host Free Health And Wellness\">health<\/a> care likely contributed to delayed diagnoses. But deaths remained elevated afterward<\/p>\n<p>Andrea Suozo is a data reporter at ProPublica. It\u2019s worse in states, like Texas, with abortion bans.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>Maternal mortality report delayed<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Texas has postponed the release of its latest maternal mortality report. Now it won\u2019t be released until after the midterm elections and just weeks before state lawmakers return to Austin<\/p>\n<p>The delay is raising concerns about transparency and whether policymakers will have enough time to respond to the findings<\/p>\n<p>Kari White is a nonresident fellow in maternal and reproductive health at Rice University\u2019s Baker Institute for Public Policy. She is also the executive and scientific director of Resound Research for Reproductive Health<\/p>\n<p><b>Lawsuit over ICE at polling places<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Federal immigration agents could appear at polling places during the November midterm elections<\/p>\n<p>Homeland Security officials say ICE will not patrol voting sites or conduct operations targeting them.
