ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – A Roanoke church is giving back to the community by offering a free health clinic
Family Health and <a href="https://lumeamara.online/?p=4912" title="PULSE returns Aug. 29 with free workouts, wellness experiences & family fun”>Wellness Day is happening Saturday, August 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Perfecting Unity Church
The event will include free school physicals, vaccinations, and blood pressure screenings
There will also be food, line dancing, giveaways, and more
“We love our community, we love our city, and we like to show that,” said Denise Tucker, Perfecting Unity Church member. “That’s exactly what we would like to see happen and just bring services to the families that need them at no cost. It’s really a wonderful thing.”
