The New York State Grange will host its third annual Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, Sept. 12, offering area residents and their families free access to information about health, safety and wellness re
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the New York State Grange Headquarters, 100 Grange Place, Cortland
Organizers say the fair is intended to connect community members with health and wellness programs and services that may not be widely known or readily accessible. Participating agencies and organizations will provide information covering a range of topics, including physical and mental health, elder care, family health, safety, nutrition and programs for children
Sandra M. Green, president of the New York State Grange, said the organization is pleased to bring the event back to the community for another year
“We are excited to bring this event about new and current health reh and living well are topics with ever-evolving insights, including drug addiction prevention and mental health for all ages, and more.”
The fair is open to everyone, and families are encouraged to attend and gather information from participating organizations
“We hope all area residents will stop in and leave with valuable information,” Green said

The New York State Grange was founded in 1873 and is a nonprofit fraternal organization with more than 100 local Granges across New York. The organization focuses on community involvement, family activities and civic engagement, including developing legislative priorities and resolutions at the local, state and federal levels
