Sanford MedX returns for Bemidji area high school students

BEMIDJI, Minn. – Sanford Health’s MedX career exploration program will return for the 2026–2027 school year, offering middle and high school students in grades 7–12 a hands-on look into the world of health care

The free program kicks off with four fall sessions starting Sept. 22, held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center, 1300 Anne St. NW. Additional fall dates include Oct. 20, Nov. 17, and Dec. 15. Spring sessions will follow on Jan. 19, Feb. 16, March 23, and April 13

MedX gives students a behind-the-scenes glimpse of various healthcare careers through interactive activities, facility tours and presentations from professionals in the field. Students get to put their skills to work through hands-on experiences, such as applying a cast, practicing suturing with simulated blood, and touring Sanford Health’s AirMed helicopters and barracks
