CHESAPEAKE BEACH, Md. — Anyone interested in learning more <a href="https://lumeamara.online/?p=5135" title="Misinformation about health and wellness can be convincing – here is how to spot it”>about health and wellness and contributing to a great cause can join the community this Saturday, Aug. 8, at the Uplift Calvert Wellness Festival
The festival will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the Kellam’s Field Complex in Chesapeake Beach, located at 3825 Gordon Stinnett Ave
The festival is a “collaborative community event” hosted by the Town of Chesapeake Beach and the Twin Beach Community Health Coalition. The goal is to bring together residents, health professionals, local organizations and wellness advocates for a day dedicated to healthy living. It’s designed to connect residents with health resources and professionals in a fun and family-friendly environment.
Activities will include interactive health and wellness vendors, community rewellness classes and activities, and additional family-friendly activities

Additionally, attendees will get to witness the Red, White, & Warrior Challenge, a Ninja Warrior-style obstacle course competition for two-person teams. The proceeds from the challenge are donated through the American Legion Stallings-Williams Post 206 to support local veterans services
The festival is still accepting vendors. Interested businesses, organizations or community groups can fill out the form to apply
